Olivier saved Arsenal’s blushes last night by coming off the bench to score the 7th goal in quite a thrilling game. Welcome back #PL but …

Giroud is not a world class player according the amazeballs Jamie Carragher… What does it make Mr Carragher then?

Michael Carrick Set to Retire if No New Contract

Michael Carrick appears to be coming to the end of a quite illustrious footballing career. Reports on BBC are stating that he would “probably” retire if he doesn’t get a new contract in the summer with Manchester United.

He’s a strange case for me. I thought he was way over valued when he signed for United from Spurs 11 years ago for £18 million. Many pundits and fans alike raved about him though and the value and strength that he brings to the team.

I can see why he wouldn’t want to play for anyone else after United, maybe he will get another year. Or maybe he’ll retire while he is still on top of his game?

I think Manchester United and their current squad will miss him though. What do you think?

Time To Start Blogging Again

Seems appropriate to start blogging again since my last post was the last time that Manchester United faced Leicester City.

Leicester have really struggled this season, United have been a bit “meh”.

How do you expect this match to end up? The last game was a 4-1 thumping – though Zlatan didn’t score in that one. Think Schmeichel will be a busy boy?

Sideshow Bob Is Back

David Luiz made his second Chelsea debut last night. For the second time it was against Liverpool. And for the second time they lost.

Was he to fault for Liverpool goals? Perhaps not directly but that sense of disarray that comes with having Luiz in the heart of the defence as evident.

Similar to watching the old Chelsea when he was there, Brazil (think their mauling by Germany a few years back) and with PSG: all over the place.

What do you think?
