So Many Saves

As Huddersfield Town tried to get to the next round of the FA Cup you couldn’t help but notice that a) they scored with almost their first shot on target & b) Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has cheered on almost every single touch of the ball he made subsequently.

He has a very poor shots to saves ratio as it is, and I wonder really if his playing ability is really as good as Pep really thinks. It was disappointing that the Huddersfield team didn’t press more when he was playing it out from the back.

I’m am still quite amazed the Joe Hart has not been recalled yet, or at least given the nod for next season. Apparently he will still have to wait to find out his fate.

What do you think about the goalkeeping situation at City?

FA Cup Win Doesn’t Escape the Problem

So Leicester City scrape through the 4th round of the FA cup with an extra time win over Derby. Was it convincing? I didn’t see the game so cannot comment.

However this win doesn’t take away from the fact that they are really struggling in the League. Hopefully this will turn their season around.
