Senegal and Japan keep World Cup knockout hopes alive with 2-2 draw

It was honours even between Japan and Senegal in Ekaterinburg, with the sides following up their fine opening wins with a 2-2 draw.

Attention in Group H now turns to the evening match in Kazan, between Poland and Colombia. Should that match also be drawn, then it is yet possible that the Poles and the Colombians could qualify for the next round on goal difference, in the event that they both win their final matches.
